Common questions

Why does the plan say "Too late"? Some destinations need waiting periods (for example 180 days after a titer blood test for Japan, Australia or New Zealand). The app works out the earliest possible arrival from today and offers to move your trip to that date.

Why is a step marked Done or Problem? The app checks your pet's dates against the rules: a rabies shot before the microchip, a blood test too soon after the shot, or a lapsed vaccine count as problems. Edit the pet's dates in Pets to update every trip.

What is the difference between my tick and Done? Done comes from your pet's dates. Your tick ("I have done this") is your own checklist mark: it stops reminders for that step but does not change the dates.

Reminders do not arrive. Turn on reminders in the trip, and allow notifications in Settings → Notifications → Pet Travel. Reminders come at 9:00 when a window opens, 7 days and 1 day before each deadline, and on the last day.

How do I get new rules? The app checks once a day for a signed rules update (About → Check for rule updates) and works offline with the rules it has. Trips whose plan changed after an update are marked.

Where are my document photos? Only on your device, inside the app. Deleting a trip or pet deletes its photos. Carry the original documents when you travel.

My destination is missing. We add countries only after checking the official rules. Tell us which route you need.
